There are good days and then there are days like Floridian couple Cary Tullos and Tara Tuttle had last week. After a scare with breast cancer, Tullos was pronounced free and clear of the disease. Feeling lucky, her partner Tara decided to be a lottery ticket, winning $10 Million. The pair and their two children picked up the money last Friday, but Tuttle says the news of her wife’s health was far more important than the money.
“You not having breast cancer means far more to me than this,” Tuttle remembers saying to Tullos, whom she considers her wife. “This is just a gift.”
